Hernán Serrao began his career like mobile DJ (1993-1994), and finished the year becoming part of a company dedicated to organize events for not less than 700 people (1994-may 1995), at the same time that he worked of second DJ in the disco Cinema (ex- Yugoslavian).

In the summer of 1995-1996 he played in Contramano (gay disco). This time Hernán Serrao had already a very good handling of the hint and of different types of publish based on the diversity of musical proposals that he had to work.

Already at the end of the summer of 95-96 he received an important proposal to become one of the 3 DJ residents from Buenos Aires News Club, Argentina, from 1996 up to the present time.In the same year, 1996, he began in 'El Reino' playing with local DJs such as Hernan Cattaneo and with international DJs such as Scott Mac and DJ Lottie among others.

In 1997 he was offered to play at the main floor, place in which works until nowadays. He was also the DJ resident of 'Superclub'. It was during the year 2000 that he also began playing in the "Aqualounge – Club Pacha". It is worth to clarify that his current residence in "Buenos Aires News" and "Aqualounge – Club Pacha" didn't impede him or prevent him to fulfill with the invitations that he received to play outside his country like he did it in many opportunity in Chile (Planet), Punta del Este (Uruguay), Mar del Plata (Superclub) and Brazil (San Pablo - Maresia).

Recently, in 2002 he was part of a duet called CLAN-S and he is the current resident of Superclub nights. Also since the year 2001 he had his own radio show called GrooveNight which is emitted on Wednesdays and Fridays from 21hs to 24hs at Eco Radio 90.3 (www.cadenaeco.com.ar) and re-emitted in Peru. In this program also takes part of it Sebastián Castro, the other half of CLAN-S. Hernan Serrao played among Austin Leeds (USA) at BIG ONE , and in the same club he played with his friend SLACKER (Shem Mcauly) , BIG HEAD and others.

The year 2004 started full of work. Hernan had to divide his time between a tour with RED BULL in January in the Argentina's Atlantic coast, other few gigs booked in the year 2003 and other tour in Brazil in February. We don't have to forget that in April, Hernan will be in Europa to start a couple of gigs as CLAN-S. The first one will be at The Gallery in London, a place that receive djs as Sister Bliss, Dave Seaman, Futureshocke, Yousef, Ferry Corsten, James Holden, Nick Warren, Judge Jules to name a few.

In one occasion a magazine asked to Dj Hernan Serrao about what is a good dj, and Hernan answer: "I going to tell you something that other dj told to me and now I used it as mine. A good dj is who at the end of a gig, when everybody leaves the club, make people return home thinking that they had listened something different, something that they have never listened before, a good dj is who can make that who loves techno think that was the best techno night, who loves house think that was the best house night, and the same for progressive and techno lovers. The day that I can do this I will think that I am a good dj around the world".
