Raised on the mean streets of Northern VA, Issamu Kamide aka DJ Hapa discovered his love for all things musical in his early years of Middle School. Quickly, he went about amassing a wide collection of music that spanned all genres under the Sun. By High School he was DJing school functions and house parties. Currently attending the University of Virginia, DJ Hapa continues to try and perfect his craft as he DJs around the Charlottesville, Central VA area as well as some scheduled gigs in NYC. In a few months he will be relocating to Tokyo, home of world famous DJs such as Satoshi Tomiie, Fantastic Plastic Machine, and Takyuu Ishino. Bit by bit, day by day, DJ Hapa hopes to become a leading force in the DJing community, mixing genres and acquiring new techniques for the sole purpose of making the world dance.
