Coming from a family of musicians, DJ Hadi (aka Hadi Salem) was pulled into music at a very young age, starting off on simple disc-players and an amateur mixer. After building the basic skill and know-how as a bedroom DJ, he started spinning for events at exclusive venues and clubs, increasing his exposure and showcasing his talent. Known for his unique, energetic sets and pumpy basslines, DJ Hadi was able to excel as a performer, pushing the boundaries of electronic music.

From 2004 to 2006, DJ Hadi released several recorded sets and unofficial compilations of remixes and edits. These boosted his recognition and gave him increased appreciation as a DJ. Towards the end of 2006, Hadi was featured as a guest on Puerto Rican radio station 'The Perfect Mix FM'; the featured live-set 'This Is House', eventually resulted in a prime-time weekly radio show: 'The Weekend Kick-off'. Moreover, the increasingly popular show earned him international standing and recognition as a DJ and broadcaster.

2007

In the interest of diversity, DJ Hadi worked alongside MC Killossal (aka Ghaith Adnan) in a hip-hop collaboration which reached massive success during early 2007. They recorded several tracks, including 'Make You Mine', 'Survivin'', 'Behind Bars' and the all popular remix for Cascada's 'Everytime We Touch'. The songs were signed onto indie label, 'Biggazille Records' and were featured on radios and radio shows all over the world

Staying true to his love for house music, he then released several promotional mix-sets including: 'Electro Vibes', recorded for internet-radio VL; 'Hattas Are Cool', recorded for Radio Monash; and 'Steal The ManiKan', recorded for internet-radio ClubbersRadio.

DJ Hadi's current radio show, 'the Perception of Sound' kicked off in mid-2007 and still airs weekly on Radio Monash.

2008

Hadi now maintains a regular top 10 chart 'Hadi's Beatport Pick', on the internet's leading electronic music store, beatport.com. His recent production, includes tracks such as 'Anorexia', 'D-Cipher' and 'Pills Kill', all expressing his serious dedication to music innovation and highlighting his abilities as a musician and producer.

DJ Hadi is still pumping a mix of the freshest progressive tech-house and electro tunes, firing up dance floors all over the country. Keep your heads up; he could be spinning at a club near you!
