Guy Herman first took to the decks in 1999. His natural talent saw him move into the professional arena at a meteoric pace and by 2001 he had succeeded in securing a place in the finals of the SA Technics Battle of the DJ's.

Since then, Guy developed his alter ego as a member of The Pimp Squad, where he and fellow DJ Jon S have established themselves alongside SA's finest.

Guy's versatility has seen him play alongside internationally acclaimed Techno, House, 2-step and Hip-Hop DJ's & Producers, including Carl Cox, Tom Novy, Inland Knights, Dieselboy, Charles Webster, Jason Hodges, Bruno Banner (Troublemen), Jake Childs, Joey Youngman, Jay West, Alex Kidd, Kaskade, Tim Westwood (Radio 1 UK), Harrison Crump, Malcolm Duffy, Sister Bliss (Faithless UK), Brandon Block, Mr Thing (Scratch Perverts - UK), Dominic B (Stanton Warriors - UK) and Justin Robertson (Lionrock US).

Guy has held residencies at 206, Reality, Tramps and Sublime as well as playing guest slots around South Africa at H2O, Movement, YFM, 5FM, Bitch, 206 (CT), Essential Mix (CT), ICE (DBN), Club @ (PTA) & Carfax to name a few. He continues to play at almost every major club in SA and is a weekly resident at Partyhouse, Sutra/Chilli lounge & Truth nite club
