Grial aka Andres Barreto was born in the city Montevideo, Uruguay in August of 1971.
By perfectly merging his Latin roots with electronic rhythms and new sounds, DJ Grial provokes his audience to add color and diversity to each one of his sets. This allows every mix to explore diverse cultures, creating an exquisite and exotic electro-lounge.
To describe his style is complex. Grial is not confined to one form, but instead to a variation of eclectic styles and beats. His sets are rich with drums and breaks, constantly reinventing distinctive Latin rhythms.
Influenced by traditional Uruguayan and Brazilian music at a young age, he was affected by these Brazilian rhythms which manifested his love for Bossa Nova and Samba. Enjoy from his assorted concoction of sounds and styles that range from Trip Hop, Nu-Jazz, Tech/ Progressive/Deep/Disco/Jazzy and Latin House, Breaks, and Down-tempo.
