Greymatter is the pioneer of the broken disco sound - a fusion of soulful broken beat and disco programming. It is a sound that G has been pushing through DJ sets over the last couple of years, most regularly at his own night BASEMENT SOUL in Brighton. Things are set to move up a gear later this year with the release of his own productions 'I Wish You Knew' and 'You Got Me Dancing' featuring up-and-coming writer and singer Emma Brammer.

G has a knowledge of music and DJ experience beyond his years; renowned for dancefloor orientated DJ sets that fuse styles ranging from disco/boogie, house, broken, hip hop and electronics to dance jazz, deep funk, latin, samba and soul.

He is a versatile producer and half of the OTHER BROTHERS with younger brother and 2 x UK DMC finalist PHAT KEV, who specialise in 4 turntable + CD + sampler/FX jam sessions. Additionally, he is half of HERELDEDUKE who have had releases and remixes on Rocstar, Skint and Catskills Records. He is regularly involved in other soulful dance music production collaborations too.

G is a member of the MR BONGO RECORDS, Unique Uncut and Brighton Jazzrooms Allstars DJ collectives.

Regular DJ slots include BASEMENT SOUL every Friday in Brighton, Russ Dewburys Jazzrooms (Brighton), Brazilian Beats (Brighton) and JazzUpJuiceJuiceUp (Southampton) as well as guest sets across the UK and the world, most notably the MTV European Dance Music Awards in Lisbon in 2005, slots in Brazil in early 2006 and a forthcoming tour of Eastern Europe this summer. He has DJ'd alongside the likes of Poets Of Rhythm, DJ Yoda, The Nextmen, OK_Ma, Mr Bongo, Marcelo D2, Russ Dewbury, Mark de Clive Lowe, Novalima and more.

His industry experience is extensive and previously includes tour management for the Quantic Soul Orchestra, and stints at several Brighton based record labels. He is the founder of the Brighton based UNIQUE UNCUT music collective.
