GRANT

Grant began his career 6/4/99 opening the main room of 2nd and Jackson for Istyly's original Rendezvous. A young Trance head aspiring to one day work the ladder to headline bookings and over seas Trance excursions. He spent the remainder of the year steadily appearing at the Trance & Jungle Factories busy assortment of Man In the Moon and Tickle parties. As the Millenium drew near, Grant, slowly became recognized for his upbeat Trance melodies and inspirational sets. January 2000 Grant got to work on what would be his first released mixtape. 'Things Looking Up' showcased Grants somber sometime sad feel and his hope to build to an energetic, fast paced, smile on the face, Trance peak attempting to encourage people to see the good in our scene and our lives.

Grant floated in a sea of love and music that would soon prove to be rocky and trying. As the year came around his life took a turn and his emotion would change his sound.

Grant would travel through to a darker sound shining at September 9th's MeltDowN.

As the Years progressed... the maturation of both the DJ and his music would change the angle at which he viewed his career. Striving to keep an artistic feel in all his sound Grant created a promo CD of symbolic proportions. "Chasing Rain" is a journey through Grants thoughts and emotion at the time of 2001 a somber move in which Grant searches for a painful truth in himself, centering himslef in the end with a White label Remix featuring Dido.

Grant closed the Year playing various undergrounds namely Cosmic Beats: Constellations III at their hidden home wherehouse soon be unhidden... Grant would there unhide himself. Trying to show the world we know, Starring Sheethangers "For You Alone."

The year smashed to the Next and a vivarated Grant discovered the feel of Breaks as the San Francisco Bay Area House Scene Boombastiscized the areas youth. His newest CD promo Capricorn Glyph features an unreleased Title of his own, documenting his feel and rythm... a rather monotonous track in his own mind, it proves his desire to be innovative.

The CD mixes through much to the array of his song... Pure great sounding Trance into more variable sounding Breaks. Ending with Tribaler Sounding House Music.

Grant has been working on keeping the sound and feel he carries while Transitioning to Breaks. He continues work on songs of his own striving to, One Day, create and produce his own Vinyl Release's.

Grant plays his part in keeping the Areas Scene alive working on Parties Such as the Most Recent:"GREEN: springtime massive" A Cosmic Beat, Liquid Mercury endevour on 4/20/02 featuring Simply Jeff, Kelly Reverb, Doran and Spyhunter. Grant banged out his new Break sound in the Balcony Messanine givin the Party an Early Kick.. screamin'

"EVERYB O D Y Get DOOOWWWWWWNNN GET DOWN!!"

He can really get the party started... Correctly.
