FRED JUNGO

Born Frederic Alexandre Jungo on the 3rd of July 1973, DJ Fred Jungo kick started his DJ career at the age of 17. He had worked in a record shop for 3 years and had started mixing "all style" in a bar. In 1991, thanks to the resident DJ of "Le Select", one of the hippest clubs in this side of Switzerland, he got a weekly spot. From then on things went quite fast: in the summer of '91 Fred got a "summer job" in THE club of Dubrovnik (Croatia): "Napoleon International". Then on his way back to Switzerland he got a full time deal with the "Select" and went on with a 4 year tour of Swiss clubs.

In 1993, along with his DJ activities, Fred gets a name in the organization of electronic events in the top of the Swiss clubbing scene. He works, among others, with DJ Willow, Djaimin' and CJ Bolland.

His talent as a house DJ was fully recognized from 1995 onwards. DJ Fred flies to Montreal, Canada for the opening of "Club 737", where he mixes for two months as a resident DJ. Back from Canada, he keeps the residence house DJ sets and mixes with some of the best Djs on the planet : George Morel, Bob Sinclar, Ian " 45 ", Carey, Jason Papillon, Tommy Musto, DJ Antoine, Mr Mike or DJ Disciple.

On top of his 4 resident spots, Fred becomes artistic director for two Swiss clubs, "U-Turn" and "Duplex".

Around the same time, Fred flies to Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and ignites two mythical clubs of the local scene: "Echo" and "Backroom Club".

The media caught on with Zurich's street parade where Fred was on the "Cheese Lovemobile", and a Radio Groovelift Show on Couleur 3. The show was awarded best radio house show at WMC Miami in 2001. The cherry on the cake was Fred's farewell party: 1200 friends, relatives, managers and Djs came for Fred's last performance in his home country.

From 2002 onwards, Fred plays intensively in almost all Thai clubs with a house orientation. In September of the same year, he gets a week-end residency at Bed Supperclub. BSC is considered by many as one of the best clubs in Asia.

Fred still plays at Bed Supperclub every weekend and does some performances in KL, Singapore and all over Thailand from Chiang Mai to Rayong, for prestigious clubs, private beach parties or events for big fashion brands.

Fred extends his activities to music production as he starts working with sound magician

David Cocker. He also takes part in the "BKK-DJ's" compilation with "So deep".

Since 2002, Fred is invited regularly to clubs in Switzerland where he plays for a weekend. His "in your face" house is delivered weekly in the best clubs of Thailand and South East Asia.
