Forrest Daniel (aka Forry) began spinning house music in the Southern California rave scene in 1999. His funky and filtered disco style brought him in contact with house music's largest icons. In 2000, Forrest earned a residency with Sporty & Friends as well as a weekly event at Exile (LA). Spinning weekly at massives across SoCal, Forrest became known for a feelgood, vocal-laden, and highly european style that was an ideal cure for the common house set.

In the summer of 2000, Forrest dove further into his developing style and began a residency at the Cardoza Club in Essen Germany. Soon, Forrest received bookings for Club Pentagon and Cube.

Returning to the US, Forrest's sound could be heard on the Los Angeles airwaves on Streets Radio 87.9 FM as well as EvolutionRevolution.net Internet Radio. As a member of ER's DJ collective, Forrest began spinning tag-team Garage vs. House sets with fellow DJ, Ameno. The two brought this format to Ameno's Club Made in LA where Forrest held down a rotating residency throughout 2003-2004--splitting time between LA and San Francisco.

Influenced by the bass lines and groovin' rifts of UK Garage/2-step, as well as the deep house style that was making its way from San Francisco to Los Angeles, Forrest began reconstructing his sound. His new sound utilizes chicago-style grooves and bottom-heavy tracks to produce chunky, energetic, but mature sets drawing on artists such as DJ Sneak, Jason Hodges, Lawnchair Generals, Raoul, and Joey Youngman.

Forrest currently resides in Washington, DC. In addition to weekly DJ events across the district, Forrest has several remixes and original tracks in the works.
