Fluxien has been making strange sounds since 1989, but as a DJ he didn't appear until the early/mid-90's when a young man emerged from his bedroom studio looking for similar minds to make some noise with. Born in Norway, the electronic music community was pretty non-existent at first, and the most effective way to meet like minded people was to make something happen yourself, or travel.

Arranging shows, concerts and club nights was to be his main focus in the years to follow, always just as eager to hear new DJ's and musicians as to step up to the decks and fx himself, Fluxien has been working as DJ, producer, technician and all-round handyman since, everything to keep the floor going...

Producing tracks has always been a major part of what Fluxien does, but releasing it through the normal channels hasn't. His material are used for the live shows and DJ-sets, and he has so far refused to make any official releases out of any of his material. "Since the music I make is produced digitally, to print and sell it seems like just another trick to make money. If you want people to listen to your music, play it to them, don't sell it to them." Current live-sets can be found on his web page, and registered users get access to more material through the forum on the page.

Currently Fluxien is working on some remixes in the studio, and preparing for a new series of live shows with his long-time mixmate Free the Spirit and the rest of the Polka Crew.
