A lot of influences that brought Erik Prestinary's attention to the electronic music scene came directly from where he lived in the last 10 years. Traveling between Costa Rica and Miami led him to discover the wonderful worlds of house music, progressive and tribal house. His love for this music would later lead to headline memorable parties such as Carl Cox and Steve Lawler.

Many influences run from local Miami scene names like George Acosta, David Padilla, Edgar V, Jasp 182 and much more. Also taking the opportunity that Miami was his home for sometime we must not forget that Digweed, Sasha, Nick Warren, Anthony Pappa, Deep Dish, Sander K and many more that continuously play clubs in the area influenced his style greatly. Deciding to buy a decent pair of turntables at the age of 20 he would later move on to Costa Rica and play out in local bars. His sound started off with trance to gradually shifting over to progressive and tribal house. He started to play consistently in 01 and by the end of the year he headlined a party along with Chris Fortier.

A few months later he was asked to join Costa Rica's most successful organization when it comes to electronic music events, Promotion Bookings. They would later on let him show his talent with such dj's as Chris Fortier, Moshic, Joeski and Onionz, Sean cusick, Mark Pappas, Hernan Cattaneo, Christopher Lawrence, Dj Dan, Stephan Luke, Charles Feelgood, Humate, Carl Cox, John Digweed, Steve Lawler, Gustavo Cerati's Roken project, James Lavelle, Tall Paul,Paul Oakenfold and recently to play in Colombia and Panama.

Taking this success into more personal matter production of his small events is now a natural goal. These parties are respected in the local scene and people enjoy themselves very much. Another aspect of Erik's love for the music is creating his own sound, starting on a more religious basis in 04 music production is something that is always on his mind.

Erik has also had the change to headline parties in other countries around Central America. Panama, Guatemala and by early next year, his mind is set on South American countries like Venezuela, Peru, Argentina and Colombia. He will be consistently be playing in other countries through out the years that come as a good vide and friendships have been made... He has had the chance to play with the best dj's in the Central American Scene, he continues to pursue his career by setting his mind and goals toward his musical career.
