Years ago, DJ Epic met a fan who shook his hand and said "dj epic... the man... the myth... the legend." This great compliment has been DJ Epic's motto ever since!
DJ Epic grew up listening to new wave music which evolved to euro dance and eventually into his current euro trance sound. At 14 years old, DJ Epic became one of the youngest DJs ever to headline parties and spin in front of record breaking crowds. He DJ'ed at all the biggest 21 & over clubs in Los Angeles and The O.C. at barely 15. At age 16, he released his first promotional dj mixed cd and became an overnight phenomenon.
Thanks to bootleggers, there are currently over 100,000 DJ Epic CDs in circulation. He is one of the youngest Asian DJs ever to gain national recognition. Some consider him the godfather of the Asian scene while others say he is the pioneer of the euro dance sound.
To date, DJ Epic has headlined almost every flyer he's been on. He's played in front of tens of thousands of people and inspired the careers of many DJs. In 2007, DJ Epic was initiated into the Silly Crew and has evolved into a music producer / remixer. Epic will be releasing own his music on Trance America Recordings in 2007 and beyond!
