1995 was the year and the rave scene in Baltimore was thriving. With the help of a very good friend, an impressionable teenager attended a 17 and up weekly known as Rise and experienced something unlike anything he'd ever witnessed before. Hundreds of people dancing, lights that changed with the music, and the music...WHAT IS THIS MUSIC?

During the following year, Entyse attended parties almost weekly, being influenced by renown DC/Baltimore area DJs Scott Henry, DJ Sun, Chip 'Who' Watkins, and Feelgood as well as guest DJs Doc Martin, Terry Mullan, Mark Farina, Markie Mark, Garth, Jeno, and Taylor to name but a few. It wasn't until 1998 that he was fortunate enough to hear his ultimate inspiration, Sasha. "That night was so unreal...I think I'd only heard ONE record before. He went on at 2:30 and was still going strong at 7:00 when we left." He's speaking of the Miami club Groovejet's anniversary party with "the man like" and Jimmy Van M. Not a bad night, eh?

Well, now it's 2002 and Entyse, having done his homework faithfully for the last 6 years, has found himself on the verge of national recognition as a DJ. Currently living in Tucson, Arizona, Entyse has opened for international and US talents Platipus Sound System (Union Jack, Terra Ferma, and POB), Max Graham, Dave Ralph, Gavin Hardkiss, Chris Fortier, the Bassbin Twins, Christopher Lawrence, Dave Aude, Frankie Bones, Scott Henry, Deepsky, Donald Glaude, Barry Weaver, Jason Blakemore, CL McSpadden, and Markus Schulz.

With a weekly progressive house night at Tucson's Heart-Five nightclub, the title 'Progressive Buyer' at Shades of Sound, and a contract with Phoenix based Liquid Media Music, Entyse has developed a reputation as one of Arizona's finest proggers...and no, he won't play Darude.
