Call him a dreamer. Call him over-ambitious. Call him devoted. Whatever you call him, DJ Endow is a one man club mix, composing hard-hitting dance music with mach-speed tempo. Brick by brick, he?s tearing down the wall that keeps his music from the mainstream, and the world from becoming intimately acquainted with DJ Endow.

In a world dominated by trance and dance, DJ Endow has dared to stay hardcore. A relative new comer to the scene, DJ Endow?s version of hard house has catapulted him to fame. Commanding thousands of fans he has climbed his way to the coveted number one spot on MySpace.com?s list of Indie Hard House DJs in Texas, number 10 Indie House DJ in Texas, and is climbing the national ladder with an impressive 63rd place on the National Indie Hard House list.

Spinning tracks from the world's best in electronic music and incorporating many different styles, he still carves out a niche that is black metal in its intensity. Once you hear DJ Endow for the first time, you know you've been affected. The intensity DJ Endow brings to the scene is one that has not been seen in years. With his accelerated heavy base laded hard house style he unmercifully assaults the audience?s senses leaving them in a state of exhausted ecstasy.

?I want people to escape from their everyday lives and leave it all behind for that brief moment that they hear me. I want the audience to feel like nothing else matters. I want them to feel the energy of my mixes and let them all be infected by the way I mix and by the way I run my crowds?

Sectioned off from the rest of his house, what would otherwise be the dining room of his Arlington, Texas home is what he calls the ?mix lab?.

?I?ll hear or see something that inspires me, come here with a couple of beers and sit and mix and start seeing what I can fit together,? says the 23 year-old Grand Prairie, Texas native.

It wasn?t long ago when the wordless, beat-based dance music was an enigma to him. Originally a rock fan, he used to spend most weekends in bars and parties. This held true until he became a part-time Bartender for a club that played dance music. The intoxicating new bread of music was soon a drug, and he could not get enough. Suddenly, bars turned into clubs. Parties turned into raves. And soon DJ Endow found himself in the dance scene.

He quickly soaked up its swift tempo, ground-shaking bass, and hypnotic beats. The head shaking and heavy bass he was used to from rock had infected the rest of his body with this new genre, and he quickly became curious to learn how he could forge his own dance-inducing beats. His computer was soon fed with music generating programs and he found himself spending more nights at home, learning the elements of simple beats.

In a matter of weeks he sharpened his skills and was able to produce more complex music with several layers. It was soon obvious that he had found his calling, he found DJ Endow.

For the hip-hopsters and Tom Petty fans of the world, whose music is a concoction of melody and lyrics, DJ Endow?s product needs some defining.

?If you want to feel bass, if you want to feel like you just got your ass kicked, you?re exhausted and you just had the greatest time of your life, this is your music,? he remarks.

DJ Endow commands a myriad of followers on MySpace.com. Contained within it are comments from famed peers that he still has a hard time believing have listened in.

?I still think they?re just playing with me, telling my stuff is good,? he jokes.

His MySpace site boasts well over five thousand friends, all of whom are fans and resources for encouragement.

At least once a month DJ Endow does a live webcast to showcase his live performance ability. Some sets can last longer than 5 hours. With most DJ?s usually only doing 2 hour sets, fans are elated by the time DJ Endow is willing to put into them.

?I like to challenge myself, and see how long I can keep the fans moving,? says a confident DJ Endow.

The webcasts help reel in friends for the site as well as fans in general. Fans log into his address and can then hear him mix music live over the internet.

?They?re practically here in the lab with me,? he says. He?s had as many as fifteen hundred people listening at once.

The future for DJ Endow is a sea of opportunity. With every new listener and each new fan he?s building his legion. These fans are willing to do whatever it takes to support the artist that does so much for them. From being an uneducated fan to authoring his own brand of dance music, DJ Endow is building his own road to success, one beat at a time.
