The Los Angeles based duo Electro Illusion (Brian Harris and Michael Wickstrom) have been described as "The Pink Floyd of trance music"! Their smash hit trance cover of Pink Floyd's "Comfortably Numb" released on vinyl 12", is featured on Roger Waters Online.com with rave reviews.
In 2005 Electro Illusion collaborated with International Dance Diva "Pepper MaShay" and wrote an all original, R&B influenced, hit song "Beauty Shop" which was featured on the DVD "Beauty Shop" starring Queen Latifah and featured on the MGM.com website.
In 2006 Electro Illusion won first place in the Dance/Electronic category of the USA Songwriting Competition for their song "A Little Closer". The competition was judged by Universal, Sony Music, and Warner Records.
Currently Electro Illusion is in the studio writing some incredible new original tracks and their next release is a full length CD entitled "Ancient River Of Fate".
Sony is currently hosting a remix contest for Electro Illusion's original track called "A Little Closer" on their Acid Planet website.
