A big fan of, punk, indie and alternative music in the early eighties, Edge was reluctant to enter into the world of house music. But after a friend introduced him to house at the legendary Aahz nightclub at the Beacham Theatre in Orlando, he was hooked for life.

Before house came into play, Edge admired bands such as 7 Seconds, Minor Threat, U2, Sisters of Mercy, Nine Inch Nails, F.S.O.L., the Orb, Orbital and Adiminski. He played their tunes, as well as other alternative bands, under the moniker Mr. Ed on his radio show at 89.5 FM, WFIT in Melbourne.

Inspired by world renowned DJs Kimball Collins, Chris Fortier and Dave Cannalte, Edge jumped from playing alternative music to house music on his radio show and launched "Xcursions into the Underground" for six years. Soon after, he brought in as guests on his weekly radio show the three DJs that inspired him, as well as special guests like DJ Friction and John Digweed, playing sets all night and until sunrise.

It wasn't long before Edge's mixes earned him notoriety around Florida and lead to gigs at Winter Music Conference, VELVET, WARSAW, LUSH & NERVE, CROBAR in South Beach, Miami; SIMONS and FL Theatre in Gainesville; MASQUERADE & BAR NONE in Ybor City in Tampa, as well as a residency at the ASYLUM. He also played at local hot spots THE VILLAGE UNDERGROUND and MARZ. More recently involved with VOODOO LOUNGE, promoting new music through One night Events in Florida. Also creating a synergy between art & Music @ Imago.
