Eddie started his DJ career at the Tribehouse in Neuss in '93. Exciting times in Germany for house music in the five years of 93 to 98! Eddie played with the worlds biggest djs. In '98 Eddie became Resident at the Decadance-Penthouse-Club (DPC) and the Flamingo-Club in Germany, which had the best international reputation a German club could have. National and international Acts like: Armand van Helden, Felix the Housecat, Jimmy Summerville, Erick Morillo, George Morel, Mike Dunn, Harry Romero, Roger Sanchez and Barbara Tucker made regular appearances at these two clubs. Eddie is well known for his special dj performances. Working with three Pioneer cdj 1000 and 2 Effect-units at the same time. His sets seem more like a live performance working with loops, acapellas and special edits which are perfectly combined.

Eddie worked closely with Opaque Music in Germany remixing tracks by Soul Avengerz and several own productions which were exported around the world during 2005/2006. Also with DJ Antoine of Switzerland. Remixing Junior Jack, Kid Creme, Peter Presta, Tom Neville, Steve Angello & Sebastian Ingrosso. The tracks appear on the Egoiste and Houseworks labels. Singles like "release the tension" and the future release "Together as one".

Finally the big breakthrough record; Eddie Thoneick vs Kurd Maverick "Love Sensation", with two mixes from Eddie and one from Kurd Maverick. The "Eddie Thoneick Sensation Mix" generated a huge wave of support from Bob Sinclar, Angello & Ingrosso, Axwell, David Guetta, Joachim Garraud, Wally Lopez, Robbie Rivera, Stonebridge and not least of all Pete Tong, Judge Jules and Dave Pearce. "Love Sensation" was one of the "must have" hot tunes of 2006. Released on Opaque Music / Kontor Records in Germany, CR2 / AATW in the UK, Oxyd Italy, Digidance Netherlands it will be released in France, Australia New Zealand, Japan, Greece, Portugal, USA, Canada, Spain, Brazil, South Africa.

In October last year Eddie joined forces with a hot new talent from Amsterdam; Berget Lewis covering the classic 'Deeper Love' by C&C Music Factory. Released on Cr2 Records in the UK and various indies in all territories worldwide such as Oxyd Italy, Kontor Germany, Ministry of Sound in Australia, Ultra USA.

February 2007: Just delivered the remix for De Souza feat.Sheena "Guilty" which is blowing up nicely. Eddie is just putting the finishing touches on the follow up to "Deeper Love" a brand new track with Berget Lewis which is an exciting cross-over hit for launching at WMC March 2007.
