Good things come to those who wait? An apt saying for Luis H. Silva Sinning, a turntable master with ten years experience under his belt. The last two years have seen this Hastings, Colombian bred talent rise through the ranks. These years of dedication and an unrivalled attention to detail have earned Dr. Luigi a place among the big boys of the music scene.

Born in 1980, Dr. Luigi was surrounded by good music from day one. His family would play everything from classical to popular to soul and by the age of 17 he started throwing parties called ‘Totally Crazy’. After getting decks he started composing mixed tapes, which resulted in a weekly residency at a local Bogota club called Theatron and later in Tropical Cocktails.

Dr. Luigi is one of the few DJs on the scene today that truly has a style of his own. He smoothly glides from funky house to tribal house to tech house while maintaining a fun sensibility. It is a sound developed through playing warm up sets, main sets, alternative sets, playing countless venues, in countless departments the country over. Now, Luigi’s own a club in Bogota, Colombia, called Prime D.C. where plays every weekend with his best set.
