In 1997 two brothers Josip and Antonio Kriznic started their own production of electronic music, which is composed with hard, minimal, and driving techno. They also developed the taste for other musical genres, such as house, DnB and hip-hop. After a few years of music production they finally decided to give them self a name, that’s how Double System Project was born.

First performances were local private parties, then soon the boys emerged on Slovenian techno scene and performed their Live - PAs in clubs Africa (Slo), Labirint (Slo), Simfonija (Slo), K4 (Slo), MC Velenje (Slo), Martin Krpan (Slo)... back to back with DJ's such as Gumja, Sinia Tamamovi, Sputnik, Ulix etc.

In 2002 DJ Gumja started the Sound Of New Millenium organization which Double System is member of. In 2005 they also signed up for Slovenian techno organization, called Tehnologika.

They just have sign-up contracts with Twisted Circuits Rec. and Fade Out Rec., for they first techno and first house release. Techno EP is going to call Concrete EP and it was produced by TONSK.E, until house based EP, called Magnetic EP was produced by Qub.
