Doublestaxxx was first introduced to the Los Angeles rave scene in 1990. He was instantly mesmerized by the new and exciting sounds of the electronic music that was pulsating from the giant speaker walls. The music filled the air with a positive vibe that brought together people of all races, religions, and social backgrounds dancing together in the name of peace, love and unity. It was something that he was uncontrollably drawn to. The entire underground culture grabbed hold of him and refused to let go.

With an undeniable love for this new electronic music, it wasn't long before he learned to spin and started mixing together all of the Old Skool Hardcore and Hard Acid records that he had been collecting. As time went on electronic music evolved and expanded into many different genres and sub-genres. Naturally, so did his musical interests, tastes and mixing style. Over the last 12 years he's played everything from Old Skool Techno, Old School Hardcore, Gabber & Hard Acid to Techno, Acid Techno & Acid Trance to Epic, Progressive & Uplifting Trance, to Hands Ups Vocal Trance, but for the past five years his main focus has been on Hard Trance and Hard Progressive Trance.

His musical influences have ranged from Moby and The Prodigy to the old school techno played in the early nineties by DJ Dan, DJ Trance (aka Jason Blakemore), R.A.W., Oscar the Grouch and Fester to the early Hardcore & Hard Acid sounds of Ron D. Core, Mindcontroller, Tron and Delta-9 to the techno played by dj's like Frankie Bones, Adam X, Nigel Richards and Hyperactive to the Acid Techno & Acid Trance of Koo-kane, Chris Liberator and D.A.V.E. the Drummer to the sounds of west coast trance legends like Christopher Lawrence, Mars, Mystre and many others!

Doublestaxxx currently plays weekly in Los Angeles and headlines events across the U.S., packing the dancefloor everytime! He's also played on the same bill, at events with artisits such as Swedish Egil, Micro, Deepsky, Deep Voices, DRC, Keoki, Gene Farris, Doc Martin, Reza, Angel Alanis, Taylor, Terry Mullan, Uberzone, Dave Aude, Frankie Bones, Nicholas Bennison, Jason Blakemore, Simply Jeff, Autobots, Reid Speed, D.A.V.E. the Drummer, Chris Liberator, Ron D. Core, Omar Santana, Danny the Wildchild, Evol Intent, Concord Dawn, Faust and Shortee, Scooter and Lavelle and many others. His online demos were a huge hit last year! His mixes were downloaded a total of more than 100,000 times in 2006!!! With his own music productions in the works and upcoming events already planned across the U.S., 2007 is sure to be a great year for this quickly rising star!!!

With over ten years of experience behind the decks and a determination to rock the dancefloor, this DJ always whips the crowd into a frenzy and leaves them begging for more!
