With over 14 years of clubbing & promotion experience under his belt, Don decided to finally get behind the decks 5 years ago. From there he truly learned of his love for House music.

After Spinning at numerous after-hours and one-off parties through the first few years , Don finally started a weekly residency for Uforia Entertainment in 2004. With this experience under his belt, Don moved onto a residency at Luna Lounge in Saratoga, NY where he had the opportunity to entertain nearly 1000 clubbers weekly. In addition to this, in 2005 Don branched out into the regional circuit with bookings in Canada, and across New York State. He has also had the pleasure of working with top talent including Jonathan Peters, Boris, Johnny Vicious, Keoki, Tommie Sunshine, Charles Feelgood, Angel Alanis, The Sound Republic, Cue, & Portia Surreal to name a few.

Constantly working, it?s a rare weekend when Don is not behind the decks somewhere.During this time, Don created Afterhoursny.com. A nightlife website which catered to Upstate NY and it?s thriving EDM community. Opened in 2002, Afterhoursny was a centralized hub for the Albany area.

In 2006 Afterhoursny officially joined forces with their longtime partner, Gravity Entertainment. Together they have brought fun and excitement back into the Upstate scene. A new weekly event was begun. ?Housexxy? took the area by storm bringing the best local and regional headlining DJs to it?s dancefloor. As partners in Gravity, Don is looking to push the company and its artists and to give them the international exposure they deserve.

Don?s musical influence comes from his extensive time as a clubber. Travels to Ibiza, NYC, Montreal, and WMC in Miami just to enjoy the experience has shaped Don?s sound. ?I try to bring a piece of each great clubbing experience I?ve had to my own sets so the crowd can experience what I?ve experienced. The vibe, the music creates is something I have felt before, and I try to bring that same feeling to the crowd.? House is the best word to describe his sound. ?I try not to stick to just one sub-genre of House. There is just so much good music, there is no reason to worry about what it is supposed to be labeled.

Utilizing CD as well as vinyl from the first day?s of DJing, Don has realized the importance of technology for today?s DJ. With the aid of computers and software such as Ableton Live, music production has now become a focal point of Don?s DJ career. New remixes, mash-ups and original tracks keep Don?s sets new and fresh. Don now takes a ?live remix production? approach to his DJ sets. Over the years he has released tracks on SINsation Sound, Loopfreaks & ESP Musik.

In 2006, SINsation Sound was formed. Headed by Don Stone, the record label?s goal is to promote quality House and EDM across the globe. The label has sparked interests and is hard at work looking for the ?next big thing? in EDM. SINsation?s tracks are now available at hundreds of retailers across the globe.
