Half DJ, half human.

Dmytro Novosad aka Dmytro was born in 1987/Ukraine/Lviv. As a kid, he started listening to Dr. Alban and Michael Jackson, and if there was a party in his household, D. would be the host, and tracks like "It's My Life" by Alban, and "They Don't Care About Us" by M. Jackson would be playing all night long.

When, Dmytro turned 10, he made his first remix by using just a cassette player. The remix was made by cueing, cutting, and gluing same track. The remix was so awesome that D's mome called him Disc Jockey. This name has been in his head since that moment.

When Dmytro turned 12, on his birthday, his cousin gave him a gift - cassette that had some music made by different artists (DJs). When D. played the cassette he froze. For the first time he listened to the amazing old school electro made by Chemical Brothers, Fatboy Slim, DJ Dean, Prodigy, and Klubbheads. His interest in electronic music starts since then.

At age 16, Dmytro, using just a PC, did his first set in his high school which was very successful and made him popular throughout the city. However, after two years, in 2006, he moved into USA. New country gave D. new opportunities, and now he is achieving his dream goal - he is working very hard in order to become a professional DJ. He was able to buy some equipment and build his home-made studio, which is created with music software (Traktor 3.3, Traktro Scratch), and Pioneer DJ equipment (DJM 800, 2 of CDJ 1000 Mk3, and AUDIO 8 DJ). With it, he creates mixes for people, so they can enjoy by listening them.

For now, you can find Dmytro's work only on myspace, but D. is planning to do his first set at Cosm - the night club in NYC. So, soon you will be able to see his performance live.
