Being involved into music at the early age of four, playing piano, violin, and percussion very fluently, Kevin O'Shea began his journey into the dynamics of music and sound. Growing up in the late 70's & 80's his music background ranged from Rock To Hip Hop and everywhere in between. After learning how to work the turntable at an early age, he began playing with different hip hop groups and learning the ranks of a DJ. In later years to come, Kevin began promoting and meeting DJs from all around the globe. Kevin was instantly inspired by some of the locals as well. 'Aztro' became Kevin's DJ name for the next few years before changing it to DiNovo in 2005.
In 1996 Kevin O'Shea (aka DiNovo) started playing EDM, and other odd electronic sounds on a college radio station. He held that spot for 2 1/2 years. His Resident DJs and early guests were Faust & Shortee, Little Jen, Bobble of 20hz Cartel, Rydim Ryders Crew, Dynasty Producitons, Liquid Groove (Before they became Liquified), and many more. Also some major talent such as DJ Icey & Phantom 45 blessed the decks and this radio show. The show was called "Trip To The Moon" or a.k.a. "Voyage De La Luna"
After being exposed to a lot of different sub-genres of E.D.M.& DJ's over the years, DiNovo finally found that playing Jungle/Drum&Bass was his niche. He then began his long journey into Drum & Bass / Jungle. In 1999, DiNovo found the sound that fit him for the times and the future- Atmospheric! Anything that pushed the lighter, more soulful side of D&B, DiNovo played it. During this time, DiNovo was caught playing alongside some of Atlanta's finest and opening up for many Artists/DJs. After finally hooking up again with old friend Edo, he soon joined Elemental State Crew in 2001. Gaining Residency at a night called Xero Hour at Nomenclature, DiNovo double-dutied the night with Deep House & Drum&Bass. After Nomenclature closed down, DiNovo still needed to fill that weekly void so he went over to Apache Cafe.
DiNovo then helped run the music part of an 'Art Monday' at Apache Cafe in 2002-2003. Open Turntables, Art, & Naked Models, were the theme of the night. After meeting several DJs this way, he met a fellow junglist by the name of Kujo.
After taking a small break from the scene in 2004 DiNovo got a message from Kujo. Kujo asking him to play his internet radio show called '180 Degrees' on DrumnBassTV. Long story short, DiNovo was asked by the station manager, Shahram, to host his own show. 'RESOURCE' has been on the air since May 2005. Since then he has such guests as Mayhem, 180 Degrees, Forestry Service Recordings, OTC Radio, and more to come.
In August of 2005, DiNovo launched the Production Company ' R E S O U R C E ' along with girlfriend Ann, and good friend Josh R. (Disciple13).
In May of 2007 Resource saw its 2 Year Anniversary. They have now branched off and are doing all sorts of events other than DnB. But always keeping the same vibe. Now Working with a super production company called ConnectATL.
