Didan has been an electronic music fan for several years. This passion was transmitted to him since he was young as he was a ?Dance? music lover in the early 90?s. As he grew older, he got fascinated with more subtile sonorities. In autumn 2001 he got his first set of turntables and a mixer, which enabled him to practice what became a real passion. "The electronic music is for me the harmony between the sounds, rhythms and technology... being able to produce my own music is a goal that I recently reached? The next step is to sign one of my track on a Label...".

That is just a matter of time now.

It is in august of the summer 2002 that Didan proved himself as being a real prospect in the DJ world by winning the Dj Jam contest, a local Dj contest organized by Old School and ?Envol et Macadam?. Soon after that, listening to his instincts, Didan quit Canada for an eight months trip to Europe, which was very inspiring. He was only better as a human being and as a dj when he came back. As he returned home, he quickly became a monthly resident in the ?Progressive Sound? radio show on CHYZ 94.3 (musiquemaison.com). At that very same time, he also joined the ranks of the oldest and most prestigious productions/collective of Quebec city, Old School. He was also held up as a finalist in the "Made in Quebec" contest, put into place by the well known Apocalyptics productions, within the framework of the major event Express 2.

Since those determining days in Didan?s career, things has rolled up in the right direction, getting gigs in major events such as the New Year Eve party Intense 2004, Intense 2005, Evolution Radar One 7 and 8, Lollipop 5 and many others. Playing at the top notch nightclubs of his native city was his cup of tea, as he appeared on a regular basis at the Maurice nightclub, Frankies Cabaret and of course at the worldwide well-known Dagobert. In April 2005, another big step forward for Didan, as he set himself as a monthly resident at the Terminal Nightclub (terminalnightclub.com) I June 2005 Didan also played in the famous nightclub SoundBar in Chicago. After he left the Terminal afterhour in November 2006 Didan got a new residence a Sonar Nightclub, the reference in Quebec city when it comes to underground house music Club.

As for today, Didan?s progression is more than obvious, seeking a sound more actual and mature influence by the underground chicago house music and taking his inspirations from artists such as Derrick Carter, Sound Republic, Inland Knights, Eloi Brunelle, Style Of Eye, Lee Buridge?.and locally from Mycelium, Mat Vezina, Alex Axx Koss and of course all-star Dj Preach

In the beginning of 2007 Didan starts his own radio show to promote the music he likes. The radio show called Martini? airs every friday on CHYZ 94.3 and features each week an artist or a label of the underground house music scene. Check out myspace.com/chyzmartini, for more info about the show.
