Deaz D (born in 1969 in The Hague - NL) has been an active part of the dance scene for a long time. It all started back in 1985, when he – 16 years old – started playing in a few small local clubs in The Hague. In 1987 he was amongst the first in the Netherlands to discover house music, and from 1989 he started playing in club Locomotion in Zoetermeer. During the first part of the 90s he was a part of the dance act Brothers in Crime, produced a lot of records (for example the very successful "Deaz D – Asiet!") and did a lot of remix work, a.o. for Critical Mass and hardcore records from Gizmo and the Dark Raver.
Lately he is busy playing more and more in Germany and Switserland, and he's working together with Charly Lownoise on his own party concept Bitte ein Beat, based on German hardhouse, trance and techno tunes. Bitte ein Beat includes a series of compilation CD's and party's, and will definitely set the new trend on dance music in Holland.
In the near future he plans playing in more different clubs in Europe, and to produce some records again. So: be sure to hear his name somewhere soon!
