What makes a DJ unique? Is it their presence? Their track selection? The way they can masterfully work their mixer? Or is it their ability to take a crowd from one side of the emotional spectrum to the other in the course of 120 minutes? Well Dean Lowden has it all. Dean's has been droppin' the cuts for well over seven years. When asked what makes him unique, he replied, "Well, I like my tracks to have the shakes. Synth lines full of analog bass with nonorganic samples." A true renaissance man, Dean specializes in progressive & nu-skool breaks but plays whatever he feels the records tell him to play, as well as gauging the energy of the crowd. "I like to drop on some deep/heavy/broken tracks while keeping complete control over how I dip and bow the energy levels to work with the crowd." Heavily influenced by artists such as Adam Freeland, Meat Katie, Lo-Step and Amon Tobin, Dean has already played with the likes of Hybrid, Steve Porter, David Hollands, DJ Swamp and many others. Dean Lowden is one of those artists who once you think you've got him figured out, he turns everything upside down, leaving you breathless. When Dean steps down from the tables, the energy he's created on the dancefloor is something that leaves people screaming for more.
