DA BOOGIEBOYS::: aka Hecki and Toby have known each other since their childhood when they were neighbors. The first time they made music was at the age of 13, using their AMIGA for productions. Fascinated by the techno movement in Germany both started spinning vinyl in 1996. After djing individually at local parties, the foundation of Da BoogieBoys finally took place in 2002. Since then they've played at clubs and events all around Germany. Both Hecki and Toby cannot be contained with only one genre, as they find influences in Electro, Techno and House but nevertheless they are open for all sorts of music. 2006 was the year of their breakthrough, when they signed a contract with Plasmapool.

Label owner Miles Dyson supported Da BoogieBoys with their first release 'EXSS' on 12.inch.recordings, which reached #2 in the WebRecords and #5 on trackitdown (UK). Only a few weeks later another record from the boys named ?Audiotonique? arrived, and it was even featured on the ?A Bugged Out Mix? album from the Klaxons.

They also proved their feeling as remixers for Blende?s 'Get Lost EP'. Together they created the project ?G.D.R.?, releasing 'Woskip'? and the 'Powder EP'.
