Dj Dax (Chennai, India)

WHO: DJ Dax, a 27 year old who started at the age of 18, as a free lancing Dj. He has traveled all over India and played for a huge variation of crowds. For his very first event he played with top Djs.

WHERE: Dax’s hometown is Chennai. Chennai is now picking up like the rest of the top clubs (Banglore, Hyderabad, Mumbai etc etc) for dance music and the home for some of the most talented Djs too.

CURRENTLY IN HOUSE: Currently spinning every Saturday night and Sunday afternoon at THE BASEMENT 162.It’s the most happening Club in Chennai for dance music. And the people who visit this place are all hard partygoers.

MUSIC STYLE: House music and all its variants (from mellow Vocal House to Club to Progressive to Electro). But being a DJ in India, you cannot stick to just one style of music; the crowd expects a little bit of everything in one night. So Dax also plays Trance, Hip Hop, RnB, Retro and rock, Although Hindi and Tamil music is not played that much in any of the clubs in Chennai.But dj Dax plays the Hindi and Tamil remixes for which the crowd goes bonkers.

FAVOURITE ARTISTS: Dj Tiesto.Dj Paul van Dyk, Dj Sasha, Chemical Brothers, Jazzy Joe and the list just keeps going on and on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FAVOURITE INDIAN DJ: Dj Tuhin From Chennai.

FUTURE PLANS: To do a course in Music Production and start making his own remixes and to travel around the world playing live shows in the open.

CORPORATE SENARIO: Dj Dax has also played for many corporates and corporate events. Accenture, Max Newyork, Ascendas, ABN Amro Bank, ICICI Bank, ICICI Lombard, Astron, Airtel, Servion Global Solutions.
