DJ, Producer, Remixer, Songwritter... clearly Chicago's very own David Vasquez has set many goals for himself and attained them. David has always known the value of having no weaknesses in his game and this attitude has carried across into his DJ Career, Starting at 19...late by most standards, the now 24 yr old David Vasquez has risen quite high in a very short period of time leaving no aspect of Djing unexplored, from Seamless Mixing, to Battle tricks, to Producing... David is the complete package.

Growing up in Chicago the sounds of House Music could be heard everywhere and had a great affect on David. Inspired by many great Chicago DJ's David quickly made a name for himself incorporating his array of battle tricks fused with the Sounds of House Music to ignite dance floors throughout Chicago playing at such influential venues as the House of Blues, Red Dog, and Zentra to name a few. Yet, David wanted to apply his knowledge of music and take his game to the next level in the studio.

This past summer David started his own label imprint "Del Soul Recordings". With a clear mission in mind, to release forward thinking music that combined the soulful sounds of Latin Jazz, Soul, and the ever so familiar driving rhythm that is House Music in a attempt to leave his foot print among the great producers that inspired him. With his First release "In Your Eyes" in August of 2003, David is clearly on is way.

David is currently working on Del Soul Recordings second release "Baila Con Migo" that also features remix work by legendary Chicago House producer Johnny Fiasco due out in June. " I love this music and I would like to contribute to the sound that has inspired me" says David. With no weakness behind the decks and a growing reputation as an up and coming producer, the future seems bright for this Chicago native. Expect to hear more quality work from this talented DJ/Producer.
