Born as David Hoytema in the city of Utrecht in the heart of the Netherlands and later moving to Amsterdam, rising performer/producer David Diaz has been listening to the worlds best DJ's for a long time. And he has learned.

Now proud owner of his own production company, Double-D music productions(r), with upcoming DJ-focused recording division BlackLabel (TM), he aims to be a key player in the mixing game. "I would love to have one label which mixes the best house/techno music to make it more mainstream, and at the same time produces music and video material for the pro's."

His true love is still performing though: "The first time I came in touch with mixing was for 5 minutes in the Amsterdam renowned Roxy club, because my cousin was a DJ there at the time. Since then I have not been able to let go of this passion."

Having performed in major Amsterdam clubs it seems that the passion has not been able to let go of him as well.

Currently based in Salamanca (Spain) for studies he combines learning with valuable abroad DJ experience.

And the future "I hope to have more time for performing and producing, and I want to professionalize my business more."

Not being older than 20, he still has plenty of time to realize these aims.
