Davide Succi was born in 1973, in Ferrara city in Italy, the city that has probably the most beautiful girls of all the BELLA ITALIA country. Music has been the biggest passion in Davide Succi`s life and has always felt the need to share that passion with other people. A 100% native Italian, Davide Succi DJ, recounts old when he used to sit in front of a radio stereo set to listen to his favorite radio program where they were presenting the best dance hits. He used to spend hours after middle school inside of his bedroom, listening to other DJs spinning dance music. Many nights without going to bed or till early morning with his headphones on the head in order not to wake up mom and dad in the other room. So headphones have been his best friend.

After 2 years of listening to radios and different types of music, and by recording it on tapes, and with clear ideas that music was his passion, he decided to show off in the multi regional radio station in his hometown, RADIO SOUND STEREO, where till nowadays is an active partner.

Things were pretty different at that time, there was no school or classes to learn how to become a DJ, the only way was to learn from others, Davide Succi says.

He got engaged in the radio immediately due to the understanding of the radio boss of his passion for music and he started to help the DJ to play records. Basically that was his school.

Things started to pick up 2 years later when he was 16/17 years old and when he started to play records at local disco shows and events where his sound was focused on the best hits played in the radio shows or from important charts from Billboard magazine.

That was the year 1989 when he was one of the only DJ to play PUMP UP THE JAM by Technotronics at the summer beach parties.

Thanks to these beach events Davide Succi could meet many different people of different countries and could make them dance every night.

I Have to say thanks to all those people who supported me, Germans, Polish, French, British, people from east Europe, Davide Succi says. I have learned a lot from them as each country as a different style and way but all of them could get together when I was playing their best record.

Career goes on, Davide Succi started to produce and remix big hits till 1994 when he directed one of the most listened program on the radio called From me to you. It was a really nice program, he says, people could call our radio on the phone and dedicate a song to someone by saying some words. It was a great success that brought Davide Succi to tour all north of Italy first with the DISCO version of the program at the clubs.

During 1996 and 1997 Davide tours Europe (France, Austria, England, Germany) by spinning the best dance hits of the 1990 and from that moment on he starts to make his own style.

Even though many DJs switched to CD players when holding a party, Davide Succi has constantly used vinyl records.

In 1998 he arrives in USA where he produces and remixes background soundtracks for Jingles for Radio Stations together with Todd Terry DJ. In 1999 Davide Succi presented in USA, Nashville, TN and launched the dance Italian group of EIFFEL 65 with the hit song BLUE. He was the only DJ to play the Vinyl record of Eiffel 65 and he held a big event at the Graham central station club in Nashville for the 1999/2000 party.

From that moment on, Davide Succi started to have his own style of disco music that he usually plays when he does his gigs. After USA, he wanted to learn more about Asian culture after seeing so many different ones.

So he arrived in Hong kong where he started to understand and learn Chinese habits and culture.

Nowaday, Davide Succi is spinning and holding special events where he proposes the DANCE HISTORY TRIP a mix of sounds from the begging of the dance music in 1970 till now, remixing songs live using the latest technology but always keeping a nice melodic beat that no one else can express when playing music.

The perfect mix between a song from the past and a disco/progressive/trance beat is something that only professional people can make.

He loves trance/dream music that he proposes also during his shows only when the case occurs.

His charismatic person and the ability to understand the feelings of the people who are dancing his music, makes Davide Succi a real professional player in the music DJ scene.
