Born and raised in the United Kingdom Dave Blake had his first taste of electronic music as an adolescent in the 1990`s. He was clearly fascinated with dance music. David’s admiration for the music encouraged his imagination and hunger to be fully involved with technical and performing side of the art. By immersing himself within the dance culture he was able to undertake a study of like minded artists, as a result he quickly absorbed techniques with a keen attention to detail finding his love for the music and inspiration from other Dj`s rapidly increasing.

In 1999 David picked up a pair belt drives allowing him to expand his development in the art of mixing, later in 2000 the upgrade was made to Vestax Direct drives and in the same year played his first set in cafe europa situated in his home city of Cardiff. Putting together a regular night in the trendy cafe/bar gave him a taste for djing.

David soon found his feet playing to the public around the bars and clubs of the up and coming City. In 2002 - 2003 a residency was gained for the up and coming dj at Incognito’s where his talent progressed further. 2003 also gave David the opportunity to play at the famous Full Moon Party (Thailand) along side Dimitri From Paris.

Joining an Academy in 2004 he learned how to finely tune his skills further whilst simultaneously understanding the fundamentals of ultimately becoming a professional electronic music artist.

After recording ‘Ulterior Motives’ David needed to explore his own capabilities so in February 2005 the move was made to Rio de Janeiro Brazil. Dave incorporated his style with the new surroundings of the South American city where positive feedback soon became apparent.
