"Moving soundscapes, driving rhythms and being vocal" is how Dave describes his progressive style of trance. Dave, who quotes "life as music will constantly progress…", knows how to energize a dancefloor unlike no other regardless where in the world. This can be explained both to his early DJ experiences, as well as his education and love for many styles of music.

Originally born in Milford Connecticut, by the time he was ten Dave was destined to be in music for his entire life. Picking up a saxophone and sitting in with high school jazz and blues bands was not uncommon and demonstrated first-hand what the power of music had over him. As he lived his teen years in the later part of the eighties, Dave quickly felt a connection with the styles of 80's electronica, which combined with his love for jazz and classical music was the foundation of his Trance style, that has been his trademark since 1992.

By 1990, Dave had traded in his instruments for some Tech 1200's, a dual deck CD player and a Gemini mixer to start what would be an incredible journey. In 1991 he got his first paid gig as a mobile DJ at a backyard summer party. In the years to come he quickly built quite a reputation of being a "kick-ass" mobile DJ and was rumored to be the best. After proving his talents at private parties across Connecticut, he soon took a gig at a nightclub "Boppers of New Haven" which directed his attention to the nightlife. With such a brief time behind the decks Dave determination rapidly expanded his horizons and before he realized how good he had become at moving a nightclub dancefloor, he was lighting up crowds in the Northeast.

Despite always being told there was no money in music while attending Southern Connecticut State University and Yale University, Dave graduated with BS degrees in both Zoology and Psychology then began what was a full-time career with music – and this is where his real education began. Sure he had done mobile DJ work and started working in nightclubs while in college, but it wasn't until his post-collegiate days that his passion was stronger than ever, and became a driving force in his life. Heavily influenced by mobile DJ techniques of using the microphone to move a dancefloor and the intelligence of Classical/Jazz music, combined with his love for the crowd has created a near-genius signature that can be heard every time Dave steps up to the decks.

In 1999, Dave established residency at the multimillion dollar Nashville nightclub THE OUTER LIMIT. It's there he became an icon in the electronica movement with performances around the United States with Kimball Collins, BT, Electric Skychurch, Spacemen, Richard Marley, ODI, Enrie, Deiselboy, Skribble, Baby Ann, Tony Faline, Irene, Moda, Clay Ivey, Scott Henry, as well as most DJ's in Nashville, Atlanta, Louisville, Orlando and many other major cities. Currently Dave is the head resident for two of Nashville's finest venues. The first, (Katatonic), is by far the hottest after hour's nightclub in Nashville as recently mentioned in an article featured in the national "Club Systems" magazine. The second, (CHROME NIGHTCLUB), is a high dollar luxurious venue frequented by the finest of people from everywhere on Friday nights to hear Dave's Saturday night signature trance sets from 12AM to 3AM. Dave's also currently heads "NINE LIVES ENTERTAINMENT" which is by far the most successful promotion company in Nashville at the moment. Dave's skills continues to progress and demand for him is obvious even more every day by promoters and clubs everywhere in the United Sates and Canada.

Dave aims high – there are definite plans to produce more mixed CD's in this decade as well as step into the realms of producing tracks and remixes. Future success is definitely within reach for this incredible talent.
