DARREN CHRISTIAN

Darren Christian is currently resident at one of the best clubs in the Country "The Gallery" @ Turnmills. He has been fine tuning his DJing skills since 1995 alongside some of the best DJ's from around the world. Guest appearances at a number of other clubs around the UK include Together, Ministry of Sound, Honey Club (Brighton), Inside Out (The Arches, Scotland), The Met (Armagh), Bubblelove (Leicester), Passion (Coalville) and various Colours events aslo in Scotland.

A highpoint for Darren came in August 2001 when he was given the opportunity to show Scotland what he was capable of, when booked to play for Colours at Gig on the Green in Glasgow. Tall Paul, Tiesto and Paul Van Dyk were also amongst the line up, and as expected he showed the promoters and clubbers alike that he can hold his own alongside the Worlds best. It also generated spin off bookings at other festival's including Glastonbury and Gods Kitchen's Global Sound System.. Darren is creating an excellent reputation for himself within the UK club scene. He was also inivited to do a live mix on Fergie's Radio 1 Show back in October 2002.

Darren has also been busy DJing worldwide, especially in Eastern Europe with regular gigs in Croatia & Slovenia. His last major appearance was at the Valkana Beach Festival in Croatia organised in conjunction with MTV Europe in August 2002. Darren was asked to play the main slot on the progressive/trance stage following Seb Fontaine's unexpected cancellation. Reports after the event confirmed that his set was the highlight of the Festival. Darren has also rocked dancefloors in: Canada, USA, Japan, China and Dubai, and has trips to Egypt, Hungary, Kuala Lumpur and Columbia planned for the end of 2002.

His first production project was the remixing of the club classic "Oliver Lieb presents Smoked Metropolis". This was one of Duty Free's biggest release's in 2000 and out of all the mixes his proved the most popular, especially for Pete Tong who repeatedly featured the mix on his Essential Selection show. Darren's solo debut release for Duty Free was "Uni-Fiktion" back in December 2000. This mix, and the thumping remix by Corvin Dalek, appeared on a number of compilations including 'The Clubbers Guide for 2001'.

Darren's follow up single "Temporal" which included a remix from Italian Producer/DJ John Johnson, received full support from Tall Paul and Seb Fontaine prior to its release in February 2002. Temporal was made "Ministry Magazine's Single of the Month" (March 2002 issue), and also appeared on their "Clubbers Guide to 2002' compilation. Recent remixes of Marco V's "Certainly" and Homemade's "Philosophy" are supporting evidence of his production skills. Darrens next release for the label is due out in February 3rd 2003, and is set to include a remix from Radio 1 supremo "Fergie"!!!!!

This man already has the capabilities of any major league DJ/Producer, with skills that are tuned to create a monster vibe and keep dancefloors at full capacity well into the Millennium….
