DARREN CHILSON
Darren Chilson has spent 12 years in the club scene with the last six as a promoter. In his first 3 years as a promoter he worked for Tripwire Productions, Plush Shows, and Dubble Dee Productions. This is were he learned a lot about promotions and how to throw huge events but felt he had to break out on his own and do it his way. So he created Electra-Fi Entertainment which quickly became the #1 electronic club promotion company in the Northwest. He has been instrumental in bringing global acts such as Paul Oakenfold, Sandra Collins, Fatboy Slim, Chemical Brothers, Judge Jules, Darude, Donald Glaude, Dj Icey, Baby Anne, BT, Seb Fontaine and many others. Chances are if you've been out clubbing in Seattle, you've been to one of his events. After much success in promoting club nights, he wanted to see how things were from an artists point of view. He was looking for a way to make more out of his shows and in doing so found himself a new hobby that has grown to be a part of him. He started off playing all styles of Trance before finding his niche with Progressive Breaks. He was turned onto them by Hyper when he saw him open up for Crystal Method at the Showbox. Darren Chilson's sound consists of melodic breakbeats with heavy bass lines, trancey elements and filtered vocals.
