Darin Epsilon first gained widespread recognition of his musical abilities during his childhood years, winning numerous trophies and awards for both classical violin and piano. His acute sense of pitch and intense devotion to his art continually set him apart from his peers. From an early age, he was performing on stage in front of large audiences in many countries around the world.
A devastating family crisis during his teenage years forced him to discontinue his studies for a long period of time. Throughout this difficult period, he grew a unique attachment to Electronic dance music. The music's ability to simultaneously affect mind, body, and soul was unlike anything he had experienced before. Upon discovering acts such as The Prodigy and DJs like Paul Oakenfold, Ferry Corsten, and Sasha, he immediately acquired his own set of turntables.
Determined to become involved with music again, he spent the next several years of his life practicing and writing music. His impressive audition and excellent portfolio allowed him to study music theory and composition at a professional level. Though frustrated by the school's lack of appreciation for Electronic dance, he gained invaluable experience working alongside many highly talented individuals. Eventually he would leave the school early to tread his own path as an electronic musician.
As a DJ and producer, Darin Epsilon has received support from Hernn Cattneo, Jody Wisternoff of Way Out West, Noel Sanger, D:Fuse, Sandra Collins, Kenneth Thomas, Flash Brothers, Shawn Mitiska, Jondi & Spesh, DJ Tarkan, Eelke Kleijn, Moshic, Medway, Chloe Harris, Randall Jones, and countless others. At age 24, he has already done remixes for high profile artists such as Noel Sanger, Burufunk, and Kenneth Thomas. His work can be found on some of the top record labels in the world, including Curvve and System Recordings.
During a typical set, his music selection ranges anywhere between Progressive House, Tribal, Breaks, Techno, Tech-House and Trance. His original tracks, remixes, and DJ sets are regularly featured on XM Satellite Radio, DI.fm, Proton Radio, Frisky Radio, XTC Radio, and dozens of other stations. He hosts Perspectives on one of the world's leading online radio stations, Digitally Imported, also known as DI.fm. The show has become one of the online radio station giant's most popular programs. His previous guests have included stars such as Noel Sanger, Mashtronic, Eelke Kleijn, Jay Lumen, Fine Taste, Matt Rowan, among many others.
He continues to work hard and push himself towards becoming a world-class DJ and producer. His talents have earned him headlining spots in locations on different corners of the globe. By the end of the year, he will have played in cities such as Omsk in Russia, Zacatecas and Guadalajara in Mexico, Chicago, Miami, Dallas, Charlotte, and Denver. He has been billed alongside talent such as Sasha, BT, Max Graham, D:FUSE, Luke Fair, Jondi & Spesh, Sultan, Blake Jarrell, DJ Tarkan, Pole Folder, and NYC Pacha resident Jason Jollins.
With his strong background in music and high ambitions for success, he hopes to someday leave his mark on the world. Born of eastern descent and living in a western society, he brings an undeniably unique and fresh face to the Progressive & Tech House community. Expect many more original productions and remixes in the near future.
