Darian James has been in love with music since he was born. Being exposed to all genres of music has given him an appreciation for the diversity and energy within all forms of electronic music. However, Darian chose to pursue his own blend of trance music, sometimes combining elements of house, electro, and techno to create a unique experience every time he gets behind the decks.

Going against the norm, Darian James took a different approach to entering the electronic music scene. Darian and his business partner f/64 created a Web site called DjNation.ca, which brought together electronic music information from all across Manitoba to share with DJ, promoters, and fans. In addition, after only 4 months of owning turntables, Darian James threw his first party and appeared at First Encounter on September 30, 2005 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and brought his unique style of trance and his unmistakable energy to the dance floor for the first time.

Performing behind the decks became an immediate passion. Since then, Darian has worked extremely hard to secure as many gigs as possible to satisfy this insatiable craving.He has held down residencies at several club nights, including Switch Afterhours at the Library, Dig Nights at the Warehouse, and is a regular at Ritual After-Hours in Winnipeg.

Darian James has been recognized as one of Winnipegs top trance DJs, and is proud to be a part of the incredible roster of talent which Manitoba has to offer. He can be heard bringing a blended experience of all forms of trance to any crowd, both large and small.

Always up for a challenge, Darian James is also working towards attracting the Canadian mainstream crowd to electronic music events by using DjNation.ca as a focal point for information and news. In addition, Darian is also working on production tracks and remixes which picked up by national or international production labels.
