Born in Ontario and growing up on the west coast, this self proclaimed most clever name in DJing is nothing less than a soon to be electro/tribal/scratch legend who has been dominating dance floors since the late 90's. From the countless house parties, raves, and underground events in the Vancouver area to his more recent residency in Victoria this self proclaimed cyber-whore has been a major contributor in crystallizing digital music as a respected art form in modern DJing. Boasting some of the most advanced computer technology known to man and combining it with old school scratch, he bridges the gap between classic and modern techniques as well as proving that the lap-top truly deserves its place in the booth, but make no mistake, this evil genius is no stranger to vinyl. As one of only a handful of certified graduates of the Rhythm Institute DJ School he is one of the most phenomenal scratch DJ's to reside on the West Coast. Even today the idea of scratch fused with progressive is practically unheard of.

Recently SnakeHead has been spending time with artists like Italy's electro god Benny Benassi, as well as resident artists like Scotty Stylus, Tazzix, Andy Clockwork, Deception, and Canada's drum & bass guru Capitol J, which has "influenced his style immensely" according to reliable sources. Not to mention numerous projects with other DJ's like: Reverend Jim, Ethereal Flame, Lunatic, Mackey, and Shambala's Adam Shaike. He is also rumored to be working on an album at his recording studio in the Gulf Islands and a number of record labels anxiously anticipate its release due sometime in the fall of 2005. He is also rumored to be in France and England in early may of 2005.

DanSnakeHead is one of Vancouver's up and coming DJ's, combining the music stylings of artists like Danny Teneglia, Z-Trip, and Carl Cox to create a sound that can only be described as the best of all worlds. Masterfully fusing elements from a wide range of genres, this signature sound is a seamless blend of soul-grabbing elements, intelligent electronic sentiments, and of course, thundering, bottom-heavy percussion. While sampling electro artists like Marco V, Infusion, and Eric Prydz combined with tribal drum rhythms, and accenting it all with unheard of vinyl scratch patterns probably stolen out of Kid Koala's secret journal this guy is simply put : unstoppable.
