DJ Daniel Forbes loves funky music, loves uplifting sounds and loves to play his records for likeminded people. Daniel was born in 1980 in the southern border region of Holland. When he was growing up his parents used to run a local discotheque. Years later the discotheque was gone, but the large record collection was still there. He took the decks and the vinyl to his room and started to put the needle on the grooves. Going through all these floor fillers, he developed a taste for funky fresh music.

At the age of twelve he started playing at school parties, spinning hip hop and top40 records. At the age seventeen he was a resident DJ at Club Memphis in Callella (Spain). His record bag is now filled with the finest selection from labels like Defected, Spinnin, Work, Fame, Fluential and Rootz. Spreading his love for funky tunes is making Daniel Forbes a most wanted DJ in the area.

The producer Daniel Forbes is on a journey, discovering all the possibilities in the universe of sound. Years ago Daniel started putting ideas into a Yamaha RM1x groove machine. That was his first step in the world of producing dance music. Now he is finding out new ways to handpick those ingredients that he enjoys in a record so he can mix it up with other ingredients. Working with producer Max P of Bahama Kitchen Music, Daniel is learning the tricks of the trade. Bit by bit creating that new millennium funk.
