D-Jabe seeks to infect more people with a vision. The vision: a world where entertainment reaches an audience on a multi-sensory level. The method of infection: the "Audio-Visual-Attack."
Pertaining not only to sound and light, but also integration of the crowd, D-Jabe's A-V-A rig contains the equipment to stimulate this vision of excitement, music, visuals, and dance. The ever-growing A-V-A consists of customized introductions to sets, pre-rendered synchronized video, an array of triggered strobes, drum modules, and keyboard manipulation. In addition, you can expect CD giveaways at every event.
D-Jabe's talent and equipment are not all that attract a crowd. He integrates the crowd into the music and lifts the atmosphere of the night by reaching each listener, one by one, through his own dancing, verbal communication, and emotional involvement. D-Jabe integrates his introductions and live PA tracks during his sets mixed with a high-energy vinyl selection. His stage presence energizes his audience as he pulls them into a world where a tremendous vibe and love for the music prevail.
D-Jabe trained musically in his childhood on the cello, piano, and sampler-organ instruments. Later, he furthered his musical training in Electronic Acoustic Composition, keyboard training, and music theory classes earning a minor in Music Theory at the University of North Texas.
D-Jabe originally began spinning in 1997 with funky breaks, breakbeat and digifunk. He then evolved his style into progressive trance, hard trance, and UK hard house. He has played for thousands of people at dozens of large events and clubs. Playing in these environments has earned him spots alongside DJs and performers such as Paul Oakenfold, Dave Ralph, Richard "Humpty" Vission, DJ Tiesto, George Acosta, Guy Smiley, and Skylab 2000, among many others. He has achieved three residencies in the Dallas club scene. They include two distinct residencies at Wall Nightclub and one at The Lizard Lounge. He is also part of the E-Pro residence at Club M in Austin. He recently earned a guest mix on Edgeclub 102 in Dallas, the nation's longest running live mixed radio show. All appearances have been very successful, and he has become a Southern-scene favorite among hundreds of competing trance DJ's.
D-Jabe's creativity extends into the visual realm as well. In 2001, after 4 years of training at UNT with his major in Visual Art, his creativity expanded in the form of E-Pro Graphics. He is the founder and lead designer of this addition to the E-Pro Alliance. E-Pro Graphics is the brains and creativity behind the ever-evolving and professional appearance of the Alliance. His abilities come into play as his pre-rendered visuals for the Audio-Visual Attack. These include introductions and animations adapted to event themes.
D-Jabe remains on the Texas based EpiK Entertainment and Spiritual Medicine/Texas Zen Festival rosters with additional management backing from GlobalOne Entertainment/Sound Boom of Maine.
