CURTIS HARMON
The former Los Angeles,California radio mixshow deejay at 102.3 KJLH and 1580 KDAY during the late '80's and early '90's currently residing and working in the Tokyo metropolitan areas for over the past 16 years. Also credited with remix and post production work on songs by The Rolling Stones,Lalah Hathaway,Young MC,Lia,Gary Taylor,DJ Kool and a host of other artists. Was a feature writer (West Coast Report) for Source Magazine in it's early newsletter years as well as a host for BMG's Slammin' Rap Video Magazine. Also spent a number of years at the record retail level as a buyer/billboard reporter for Wherehouse Records,The Record Industries and Tower Sunset in Los Angeles. Played just about every venue as a deejay in the greater Los Angeles areas before moving on to settle in Tokyo in 1991. Has been involved in just about every phase of the Japanese entertainment business including tours and television appearances. Currently is a lecturer at The California Fashion Design College in Shibuya,Tokyo as well as being involved in other phases of the music and entertainment business.
