Crissy Criss, born May 1987 in Newmarket Hospital, Newmarket, Suffolk, United Kingdom. Crissy's first experience with Jungle, Drum&Bass music was in 1991 when he was first introduced to a set of decks by his step-dad Kenny Ken. From there he grew alongside the dance music scene with a potential and wish to go far.

When he was nine years old he started to teach himself to mix by taking every chance to get on a pair of decks and practice from there a opportunity came along at the Drum n Bass tent at a Festival in Essex, Kenny Ken had to leave for an emergency and Crissy was asked to cover for Kenny along-side other named DJs such as Andy C, Hype, Mickey Finn & Ellis D to name a few who was there to witness 10 - 11 year old Crissy Criss on the decks following after Mickey Finn..

Not long after Crissy had turned 10 the opportunity came along when he was 11 to join Kool FM the longest running and best pirate station for Jungle, Drum&Bass in the world. After establishing himself on Kool FM he gradually built up a following of regular listeners and from there promoters tuned in who wanted to check out this 10-11 year old kid on the decks, and from there it progressed.

Another opportunity came along when a event being held at The Pleasure Rooms in Tottenham where holding a DJ / MC Drum&Bass Competition and at the age of 11-12 Crissy got voted best DJ against 10 other DJs all aged 21+ Crissy has also done TV Work for CiTV which he was filmed in a day in a life of Crissy Criss at his young age doing the things he does and then the change to the club scene and night culture he takes part in.

Since that time Crissy, 14 onwards, has been very successful with his DJ career and played at such events as One Nation, Kings of the Jungle, Royal Rumble ,One Love, Best of the British, Liquid Adrenaline, Blended and Heat & Fever to name a few. Also taking him to other parts of the world like New York, Boston, Toronto, Norway, Switzerland, France, Germany All over and All over UK to name a few from the top of the list..

Crissy’s production has taken shape from starting late 1999 on the Music generation game for Playstation ‘Music’ to Cu-Base to Reason 2.5, CuBase SX & Logic Pro to the present day Crissy’s first track was Produced and Mixed by his self and released by Up & Coming DJ from Kool FM -DJ Smokesta on Up & Coming record label High Grade Music. Since then Crissy, 17, has been signed to the long and one of the top Drum&Bass Labels ‘Back2Basics Records’ and Latest, Award winning producer Twisted Individuals label ?Grid Recordings? and is set release tracks regularly on both labels and also a list of other labels that are interested in signed Crissy Criss Tracks.

Crissy also Produces Hip Hop, Garage and other Urban genres and is working on his and MC, Rapper ‘Fumin’ to there debut Hip Hop/Garage album & features other Urban tastes of music. Crissy is working with other Artists such as ‘Skibadee, Lethal B, Shabba’ on tracks

January 2005 came Crissy, was looking for the step forward once more in his wish to make something of his music career when the phone rang out of no-where from BBC Radio One saying they are interested in me for a new show that is starting.... You can now catch Crissy Criss live on BBC Radio.
