(DJ) Craig Joiner has been a hardcore follower of the Dance Music since he was 12 and has had his first set of CD decks when he was 14.

His foundations of his love of dance music were from Daft Punk's album 'Discovery' and he then gradually listened to more of the commercial House and Trance music from the MOS annuals. Since 2004, he became more aware of the underground scene; listening To Hard House and Dutch/German Trance thanks to a new set of vinyl decks and mixer, opening new boundaries.

Since then, he got his first gig when he was 15 at 'Mambos', a local nightclub in Peterhead in which, he gained experienced from the night and further understood how to DJ properly (and getting away with his age!)

With his taste in dance music maturing in 2005, he became more aware of the diverse scenes of house, techno, breaks etc. and fell in love with their unique sounds.

Now, he DJ's and practices everyday trying to create a unique sound to his mixing: looking deep underground for some of the more unusual, experimental dance music to the more dance-friendly tunes on the surface...BUT not commercial dance!

Now 17 years old and 6"1", his passion for dance music and DJing has been rewarded with the foundation of a local gig from time to time in his town's club and believes that dance music isn’t dead! Craig is also an internet radio DJ at a fantastic new site called bassjunkees.com where he plays the latest in Electro, Techno, House, Breaks & Trance every Sat night 8 to 10pm!
