DJ Cornbread grew up in San Antonio, Texas, where he was first introduced to dance music while going to the different clubs around Texas. As his love for the music grew, so did his track library. He finally decided to learn how to DJ using his American DJ dual CD player. After a few months he began becoming involved with different event promoters around the city in order to get the chance to show his talent. After many months of playing the same tracks as everyone else in the San Antonio club scene, DJ Cornbread decided it was time to make the next step, and learn to produce the tracks he loved so much. He then moved to Manchester, UK to attend Manchester MIDI School

DJ Cornbread spent countless hours in the studio learning production techniques from different world renowned producers and DJ's, such as Simon Archer, Christophe Bride, Paul O'brien, Dan Mumberson, and Greg Vickers to name a few. With the valuable skills he learned for these producers he began constructing his own tracks. After much trial and error, DJ Cornbread finally started producing the way he wanted, cranking out driving beats and uplifting melodies, sure to rock the dance floor. While producing, DJ Cornbread was also attending the world renowned "Basement DJ Course", voted.1 DJ School in the world by DJ MAG, where he learned all the "tricks of the trade" from world class DJ and producer Johnny Miller.

Now DJ Cornbread has moved back to San Antonio, Texas, the city he knows and loves to bring a little piece of the UK into the lives of his fellow Texans. You can find him all over Texas pouring his heart out thru the music he loves and creates. Keep an ear out for DJ Cornbread, and experience the night of your life........

"For the last 5 years I've been experimenting with different styles of dance music. I started out mixing hard house records in my bedroom and quickly became caught up in the club scene around my hometown. As I got tired of hearing everyone else play the same tracks over and over again, I began searching for new styles of dance music. It wasn't until I moved to the UK that I started to get a feel for the sound I wanted. I quickly became enchanted with the grooves and rhythms of deep tribal tech-house while living in Manchester. I decided to stick around and learn production from different producers in that genre. After about a year I decided it was time to return to the US and start doing things on my own. Currently, I'm experimenting with some kind of collaboration between deep tribal tech-house and trance. I find that the hypnotic percussion of deep tribal tech-house mixed with the progressive bass lines and euphoric melodies of trance are creating a style of music that speaks right to the soul. At the moment I'm not sure where this path will lead me, or what will come from all of this, but for right now, the DJ Booth is my platform, and these records are my voice....." - DJ Cornbread.
