As a DJ and producer, Christian Smith has come to define the tech-house and funky techno sound more so than any other in his field. Highly respected, Christian counts Carl Cox, Junior Sanchez, John Selway and Angel Alanis as some of his biggest allies. The result, a man very much in demand on the worldwide DJ circuit.

Lying at the heart of Christian's popularity is his ability to combine a diverse mix of hard pumping house and tribal funky techno, all segued with a foundation that includes tight three turntable mixing and creative scratching and programming. Not to mention his amazing stage presence.

The last 10 years have seen Christian travel the length and breadth of the world. Headlining clubs and festivals every weekend throughout Europe and North America, Christian has performed in Countries as diverse as Australia, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, Malaysia, New Zealand and in South America.

On the production front, Christian's name seems to be cropping up more and more on the finest labels on the planet. He has released more than 30 records on labels such as In-tec, Yoshitoshi, Primate, and his own label Tronic, as well as remixes on Hooj, Positiva, ffrr, etc. The future is looking very bright indeed. With a settled production, an extremely busy DJ career and a personal mantra that aims to produce and push challenging electronic music, Christian's career is now moving at a bristling pace.
