Chiba Unit was founded in December 2005 to give David Phillips and Marcel Best a kind of frame for their progressive House Productions. The Projekt Chiba Unit is also to serve those producers a platform for their upcoming Live-Gigs. That this team is certainly able to produce records successfully they showed already with the Release of the Royal Rumble 003 on Approximate Records in Nov. 05. They reached in the third week already place no.5 in Balance Record Pool. The following now will be the City Basics Single on Approximate 004. The Release Date will be Feb. 2006. In that production they will use the Name Chiba Unit for the first Time.
The mark of David Phillips and Marcel Best is to produce Clubtools for DJ's and a pleasant sound for the audience. The upcoming CD Album by
David Phillips, which will be released in spring 2006, will reflect this style also. The Co-Producer for this album will be Marcel Best.
In every case we all can be anxious of the output from those two artists throughout this year.
