Castro Le China Aka Gary Teo was born on 14 February 1988 in Amsterdam.

Back in 1997, when he was about nine years old, his cousin had a Dj set with a lot of vinyl with the style Club/House.

The first thing was to try them out and he was sold immediately. 2 months later Gary gets his own dj set. His brother (Dave Teo Aka Dj Keno) was also starting to try the dj set out. The first style he got into was Hardstyle, because that kind of music was really unknown and that's what he liked.

In 1998, he heard some music called Techno and he wanted to know everything about it. When he discovered the music Techno, he stopped doing hardstyle and went on with techno. He heard the djs Adam Beyer, Richie Hawtin, Cari Lekebusch and Funk D Void

Gary found his ultimate sound. He went on in his career as a dj playing the style of Funky Techno

He became addicted to techno and he went to spin records at small parties. However, in 2004 he sent demos to TWSTD and made it to the semi-finales. Later on in 2005 he made it to the finals by doing the exact thing all over again. Then he finally gets an opportunity to spin for an extra large dj contest and won it. He had now made it to the main room of extra large together with dj spider.

In 2005, Castro has also been performing on a well known festival for the quarterfinals of Defqon1 and so he climbed himself up to other party's

Castro has also unlocked the studio door to produce his own music witch makes it easier to share his sound to other people around.
