A little more than fifteen years ago, the thirty one years old DJ Bunnys, from São Paulo (Brazil), began his journey within the music. That was in 1988 with a local Sound System Team when he, together with his friends could play at the black music parties in his neighborhood.

In 1990 he started his professional career playing in a small club in the east side of São Paulo: that’s when he discovered the dance music of Technotronic, Black Box, Snap, WestBam and the like and more precisely the world of cool steps such as Soul II Soul, Splash!, Coldcut, Cut & Move, between others.

Sometime later, in 1992, Bunnys became one of the residents that leaded dancefloors of the club ‘Warrior’ at the same time that the Brazilian electronic music scene was infested by the new sounds of hardcore, techno rave and garage. During those days eclectism, the DJs had to learn how to entertain through a set that reflected rich musical perspectives. Bunnys had not only an innovative set, but was improved himself as someone really capable of creating a sinergy with the crowds.

This called the attention of the owners of the legendary club Sound Factory of Penha, who hired Bunnys as resident DJ alongside Julião and DJ Grace Kelly Dum. At the same period, he participated of the Sound Factory Radio Session (94 + 95), where he had the oportunity to share the decks with some top DJs such as Armand Van Helden, Laurent Garnier, Erick Morillo, Josh Wink among many others.

Working as Radio DJ, he continued playing as a guest in clubs after Sound Factory?s closure. During three years, Bunnys settled his own production studio for his personal works, and but he also developed a center for jingles and soundtracks production for radio and TV stations.

In September 2000, Bunnys starts to play again regularly and receives an invitation to present Metro Tech, a techno and tech house program in a pop rock radio named Metropolitana FM: during the two years that the show lasted, he received many important guests such as Dave Clarke, DJ Rush and Stanny Fransen.

In his early times, Bunnys had to make a mix up of styles in some of the clubs he played tough techno has always been his preference and the style he likes to play best. He needed to use his experience to both situations: play what the crowd wanted to hear and also show what he wanted to show. On the more recent years, he improved himself through his hard work and managed to play techno in a unique groovy and funky way.

Because of this, in 2001 , He decided to play only techno in his gigs. His work was soon recognized and he was invited to play in some important events like: Parada da Paz (the first important parade of the city of São Paulo in 2000, 2001, 2002), E- force (2002, 2003, 2004) as a DJ and promoter, Metropolitana Party, Lov.e club (Sonambulos and Bloom), ‘São Paulo não dorme’, ‘SP Groove 4 anos’, ‘Circuito (trio Parada Ame / Circuito e Fuzu-e) , Circuito de Natal 2003, A Loca, and many other clubs in São paulo and Brazil.

He has influence of the 70’s and 80’s and still listens to a lot of music from this time. I the style he plays, his influences are: Jeff Mills, Dave Clarke, Marco Bailey, Dave the Drummer, Chris Liberator, Emerson, Bem Sins, Michael Burkat, Eric Sneo, Angel David l., Marco Remus, Umek, Henrik B, Johan Bacto, etc...

Bunnys can play from the groovy and funky oriented to hard techno according to the occasion, but always with a lot of feeling, technique and charisma, the basic ingredients of a good party.

Bunnys just finish a tour in Europe, Porto (Portugal), London, UK and Spain
