Born in Hull, Canada in 1979, he grew up travelling the world. From East to west africa, B'UGO was able to experience the music of different backgrounds. This is where the music seed was planted in his head.

B'UGO has always had clublife in his heart. At the age of 12 he was already on West African dance floor paying attention to the different rhythms, beats and drums that make dance music possible. Living in a 6000 people strong village B'UGO had no other distractions except listening to any music that was available! Returning to Canada in 1995, B'UGO began his studies. Living on his own, he had time to explore different musical environments. Never feeling that he fit in was where he belonged until the day he discovered the Montreal after-hours clubs and music known as House!

With a signature sleazy tech-house sound, B'UGO turns heads with Detroit & German techno bombs, grandiose New Yorks style diva tracks, latin fused tribal-tech and heavy chicago funk thrown into the mix.

Variety is king in B'UGO's mind, while always keeping a remarkable focus that brings it all into one solid wall of sound. Always looking forward, B'Ugo pushes the new sounds of house music. That's what this dj loves to share with the dancing folks. B'UGO started off as a child of the night, living in clubs and afterhours dressed in outfits that would have scared even infamous party monster Micheal Alig. It was those 5 years spent in the dark that forged what became the worlds he depicts through music.

Now a formidable dj in his own right, with an impressive lists of bookings and former residencies (THERAPY, EXIT, STEREO Afterhours, Circus Afterhours, PARKING, ROXY BLUE in toronto to name a few), you can catch B'UGO on his weekly radio show on netmusique.com or in person at one of his weekly and monthly residencies.
