...born in Paderborn (Germany), December 18th, 1977, Booming B. has been Djing since 1993! In the beginning, he was working with Soul and Hip Hop Tracks. One year later came the first House Party in his city and he fell in Love with House Music! The name Booming B., was given to him by his friends DJ Domink Trumane and DJ Chaos. In the early days, he was already interested in the DJ styles of Little Louie Vega, Frankie Knuckles, DJ Sneak, Derrick Carter and DJ Traxx. He was very inspired by Terrence Parker and some Hip Hop Djs as well. From these DJs, Booming B. developed his skills and various mix techniques. Very important to Booming B are the Masters at Work. In every Booming B. set, you will find at least one of their tracks. US Style DJ's, served as a major influence to this DJ. In the early days, Booming heard the Hot Mix 5 Radio-Shows and he was very inspired because of the fast mix styles and various music categories. Listening to these DJs, he developed his own personal style.

Booming B. has played in several clubs near his city and all over Germany. To name a few, there are the L.O.F.T House in Frankfurt, the Betty Ford Klinik in Hamburg, the Tukan Club or the Metro Club at the Lake of Constance, the Fusion-Club or the Depot in Monster, the Titty Twister in Verl, the Soundgarden in Salzkotten, the Red House in Paderborn and the Chocolate or Cafe Central in Paderborn. There were many other underground parties and clubs, but not as famous! International stops are Italy, Switzerland and Austria and also two little DJ tours in Chicago / USA. It is not Booming B's thing to play the commercial sounds. There are no more events listed here, because it is hard in Germany to play the Real Thing!!! He took it as his mission to bring the true house music to the people!

Booming B's roots lie within Soul and Disco. His favorite styles are music with soulful vocals and groovy beats. His opinion regarding the music that he spins is that it must come from the soul! The old tracks of DJ International and Trax Rec. are very important to him. This is where it all began and from that came the sounds he plays today! The 70’s and 80’s disco music continues to have a huge influence on Booming B. Good House Music has its roots in this kind of music and most of the time when Booming B. is spinning the wheels, at least one or more disco Track is in his set. Since 2001, he has also began producing House Music, but has no release out as of yet.

In the year 2000, Booming B. had his first contact with a Gospel choir. This occurred while he was working in the catholic high school church within his city. He began intensely searching for Gospel-House tracks. Thru his friend Thomas Strand (DJ Free-T), he obtains a great deal of information and track listings via his Internet site. Gospel-House is one of Booming B’s favorite styles. A good friend of him, Naasty Andrew is producing music, thru this friend Booming came into the producing scene. He’s often on tour with Naasty Andrew and Marcel Vogel. Sometimes they spin together. In 2002 he played together with his one and only Inspirator Terrence Parker in the Metro Club, one of his live dreams came true! From 2002 to 2003, Famhouse Bookings was Booming B’s official Booking Agency. 2004 was a very successful year for Booming B., he did three DJ tours in Chicago / USA.

He looks for the music, that is coming from the soul! An important part of DJing to Booming B. is to be real and play the sounds that come from the soul; not to play for money or the publicity.
